When I was a kid, mum got her first water filter. I thought the stuff that came out of that thing was like gold the way she used to fuss about making sure that was all she drank and boiled her tea with. One day, the tap got stuck on after I got a glass of water. About 1/2 a litre spilled into the black drip bucked we had set up under the tap (just in case.) Fearing i'd be shot for wasting the special water, I poured the stuff from the drip bucked back in the top... complete with dust, spider webs and other assorted kitchen floor nasties!
ReplyDeleteI know water's precious but these days, I'd probably throw that kind of 'waste' on the garden, not try to filter it to drink again...
